Oh - now things are becoming clear. The mayor takes Pearl for Wanda. But is this truly a coincidence that the agency fitted Wanda up like Pearl?

It's the way around. The mayor's driver gave Wanda an outfit to look like Pearl.

Pearl and the woman somehow know each other.

    I see no problems here.

Yep, no problem to begin with, but some people just can't resist to create one.

Pearl senses something's not right with her. She covered up in the last panel.

Looks like it's a nasty surprise.

I'm not sure why but this intrigues me more than it should.

What is the past between Pearl and Madam?

Is it possible that at some point they were intimate? If so, what could cause the relation to detriorate enough for Pearl to cover up?

Is it that Madam is some family (that would make the first part of the arc awkward).

Anyways, waiting for the next comic ;)

        I have a feeling there's a past all right 😉.
